Born in Fayetteville, NC, his interests from early age have always been photography and astronomy. Conrad moved to Wilmington, NC in 1979 and has been home ever since then. The unique and diverse landscapes of the local area provide plenty of subject matter for his photography. His favorite subject areas are aerial photography, astrophotography and lightning. His photos have appeared in local newspapers, brochures, international astronomy magazines and are available in select local galleries.
